Our team will go through a detailed and comprehensive assessment to develop a hypothesis which can then be tested to make a diagnosis. Once the injury is diagnosed, we will prescribe a tailor-made Home Exercise Program specific to your goals so that you can get back to your normal lifestyle as soon as possible.

Injury Prevention Medical Screening:

This assessment will consist of an in-depth assessment of the whole body. The aim of this screening is to diagnose any weaknesses, muscle shortening, imbalances or other injuries that may impact your ability to compete in whatever sports you participate in. This is especially useful for athletes training for competitions, and football teams in pre-season, and applies to every sport.

Sports Massage:

Sports massage is a proven technique used to remove tension from muscles, improves circulation, and encourages the removal of lactic acid after high-intensity activity which in turn helps relax the body. It particularly assists those who are prone to injury by enhancing recovery between sessions. As well as the physical benefits, sports massage can help relieve stress and assist in relaxation.

Taping:

If you have muscle weakness but have matches coming up, taping may be an option for you. Taping helps weak muscles to function normally by supporting the weak joints and applying pressure to the weak muscles in order to promote higher performance. Taping has also been found to promote analgesic effects which helps with the reduction of pain.
